The search engine giant Google has published a new post which showcases the complete new privacy filters to add an extra layer of protection on the privacy of each and every user of the Google Assistant. The company will allow users to review the Voice & Audio Activity (VAA) setting and confirm their preference before any human review process resumes and it also provides greater security protection to the transcriptions with an extra layer of privacy safeguards and all the new measures will definitely going to overcome the privacy concerns of the digital assistant.
Moreover, Google is also bringing a new setup to adjust the sensitivity of Google Assistant devices and this will help users to restrict the accidental activation to the voice assistant through the voice command such as a ‘hey Google’ or ‘Ok Google’. The company has promised that it will automatically delete the “vast majority of audio data” which linked with user accounts who have opted into VAAA. The updated policy will be effective only later this year. However, no exact date is revealed.
