We know that digital images often lack descriptive captions and alt text and the same makes them inaccessible to individuals with visual impairments, but it will be not as Google is bringing Lookout, and the same will offer a new feature called “image question and answer.” By leveraging an advanced visual language model developed by Google DeepMind, the new feature can able to provide descriptions from the image.
Google Maps is another product of the company that will give new Freedom to disabled people as the same will feature accessibility information for wheelchair users. It will offer the Accessible Places feature and the same will show a wheelchair icon to indicate locations with step-free entrances. It will also enable you to find further accessibility details in the “About” tab like wheelchair-accessible seating, parking, or restrooms. Maps will offer the information with the help of contributors from the Maps community, business owners, and Local Guides.
Live Caption will offer real-time captions for various Android devices and platforms like Chrome and Google Meet. The developers will also update an optimized captions box for Android tablets, it will also able to type back responses during calls, and expanded language support.
