It is said that Google is planning to drop the support of Google Calendar for Android 7.1 due to security concern. Google is urging customers to update to the most recent version of Android on their devices.
This is not the only application that Google is discontinuing for the older version of the Android operating system as recently the company officially confirmed that Google Chrome version 119 will be the last and final version supported for smartphones running on Android 7 and below.
