Google has rolled out the group tab feature for desktop users to make browsing easier. This feature was first made available for Android users. This helps to improve the overall look and ease of use when switching tabs.

This feature arranges the tabs in a group and provides a clear overview of all open tabs. Google has been testing this feature for quite some time now with the help of Android users and has decided to finally make it available for desktop users. Any desktop users who chose Chrome over the others can take advantage of this feature to organise their browsing activity and boost productivity. It negates the need to close tabs to clean the space up as the new feature lets user arrange things better.
Certain rumours point that Google is also working on a Follow button for Android users, It will enable create new groups by right-clicking the selected tab. If you wish to distinguish the groups, you can assign a new name or a colour to the respective groups. If you press shift while clicking the mouse, you can select multiple tabs at once.
