Desktop version of chrome soon receives the same feature of Android, an expanded share menu. The expanded share menu will offer options like copy link, copy link to text and other screenshot options. The taken screenshot will be automatically save on to users clipboard. It will also provides options like download, edit and share.
Currently, Google lens service, available for Android which helps in image recognition will soon appear in the chrome browser too. Chrome will expand its lens integration that will allow click and drag to select a region on the screenshot to search with lens. This feature will be useful for those websites which do not allow for right clicking images.
Google started developing these tools early this year and it is expected to be available later phase of this year. The built-in screenshot tool will work in versions of the browser for Windows, MacOS , Linux, and ChromeOS platforms
