Google Chrome is one of the most popular and favourite browsers in the market and the reason behind is the simple design and easy user interface. The Incognito mode is available in Google Chrome and the same enables users to access Internet without leaving footprints on the device. Now the developers of Google Chrome has added a new feature which was reported for the first time last year.
Well, I am talking about a new security feature which has been implemented and started to roll out. Google Chrome is now offering fingerprint unlock feature in incognito mode and this is actually adding an extra layer of protection.
With the new feature, you can lock the device with your fingerprint and hand over to anyone while you browsing on Google Chrome and no one can able to open your tabs as the same has been locked with your fingerprint.
This feature is optional and it can be enabled by going to Chrome Settings > Privacy and security. When you exit Chrome browser, lock any open Incognito tabs: Lock the screen to view Incognito tabs that are open.
The new security feature will also enable you to use your PIN in addition to verification when enabling or disabling.
It is really good implementation and wait for the new update of Google Chrome to get the additional layer of security feature.
