If you ask me which company experiments a lot, then my answer will be Google. As the Mountain View company tests and experiments a lot with its services and brand. Now in the latest bid, the company has combined its two services called Android Pay and Google Wallet under a single name and it will be called as and Google Pay.
Google launched the Google Wallet in 2011, and it is powered with NFC and also for the payment system to a person to person. And in 2015, the company launched Android Pay for online payments. Now the search engine giant wants to avoid two names and for an almost same purpose, and this reason may lead Google to rebrand its services under one name.
Users of both Android Pay And Google Wallet will not see much changes other than the name and logo. Moreover, the all-new brand name of Google Pay is live on many well-known websites. In addition, Google hints that this is its first step to bring more news to the payment system. So, let’s wait and see what Google is gearing up for the users.
