Ads are significantly a part of online games or apps which annoys while accessing those things. Google has come up with a ban to stop these Ads showing on Lockscreen.
Ads are generally displayed on all Apps and Games available as Free versions from certain developers. To get rid of these Ads, users will be asked to but the paid premium version of that specific apps. Even Google has already banned Ads on the Notification bar and now the same is going to happen for Lockscreen.
This ban section consists of a new set of rules to give a smooth and pleasant experience while accessing Android smartphones. This section is called “Lockscreen Monetization”. This section says “Unless the exclusive purpose of the app is that of a lock screen, apps may not introduce ads or features that monetize the locked display of a device”.
Third party lock screen apps will show you annoying Ads, but an App which is not specifically designed as Lock screen will be banned. Google’s new policy may be quite useful in terms of neat experience in Android. Earlier users will have to disable data while accessing Apps and Games of a certain category in order to prevent flashing Ads while accessing other apps.
