Google confirms unlimited lifetime photo and video upload for first-generation Pixel devices

Almost two weeks ago, the Mountain View company Google unveiled second-generation Pixel devices at Made by Google event. And at that time they confirmed that the new devices will get the free original quality of the photo and video uploads until 15 January 2021, after that they can only upload in high resolution. Today the company has announced, that the last year’s Pixels will get lifetime photo and video uploads.


With this announcement, the first generation Pixel owners can upload their photos and videos in original quality without worrying about the storage issues. And this is really good to know that, Google is not forgetting their old devices and its users.
