The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp was continuously offering good news by offering new features but today we got a new piece of information that is a bad piece of information for Android users as the company has officially confirmed that it is ending the unlimited Google Drive for its WhatsApp backups.
Well, that means now your backups will be counted in your storage space and the same will create a big headache for the users who use free Google Drive storage which is 15 GB.
With the backup capability, you guys can able to backup your chats along with media on Google Drive and the same can be used to download on your new device or if you format your existing devices.
It is also confirmed that the new implementation will be effective from next month which means of December this year. The new change will not affect the Google Workspace subscribed users for work or school of Google One plan.
