The search engine giant Google offers a variety of services and this includes every category including the fitness, and if you are a fitness lover than you may aware about the Google Fit app. That said, the app was not getting any update for a long time but today the company has rolled out a massive update and revamped the complete setup of the application. What’s new in Google Fit?
With the latest update, the app gets the Google Sans font and also features the material design which we have seen in other applications of the Google. The app also helps the users to exercise more and it also has new features to encourage he/she to do workouts. Speaking about the features, the app has a feature called Move Minutes and that will award points to the users whenever he or she moves around and this will definitely encourage them to earn more points and for that, they will do more moving or work out. The other feature is called Heart Points, it will be award points to the user for each minute of moderate activity. And users will get the points for walking or running speedily, biking and more.
Having said that, the application also has many features that have been in the app for past years and uses can also automatically track their activity using their phone or Wear OS watch.
Well, the update of the Google Fit app also indicates the existence of the Pixel smartwatches. We got a report about the Pixel smartwatches but there is no more evidence, however, we can strongly believe that Google has updated this application to the upcoming smartwatches, as smartwatches are focused on fitness. That said, this is my guessing we don’t know what Google is actually planning?
