Along with the Google Home Mini, the search engine giant has unveiled yet another smart speaker called Google Home Max at the made by Google event, which is held in San Francisco. With this device, Google brings premium audio into its Home line-up as the device brings high quality audio. It is Google Assistant and the functionality of the device is same as Google Home and the Google Home Mini, but still there is few differences which I’ll discuss in this article. Read on.
The all new Google Home Max, is the larger version of the Google Home. It sports dual 4.5-inch woofers alongside the tweeters covered by a fabric speaker grill to provide premium audio experience. In terms of performance, the company says it can offer sound output up to 20 times more powerful than the original Google Home.
Moreover, the Google Home Max also includes far-field microphones which can hear user’s voice even with the music is playing. The device also has touch controls and it supports Bluetooth, 3.5 mm port, which means you can able to plug in AUX, and Google Cast for audio streaming. Apart from this, the company also offering one year of ad-free YouTube Music.
Pricing and availability:
- It comes in Chalk (Black), and Charcoal (Gray) colour options.
- The device is priced at $399 (₹25,990).
- It will be available from December, through major retail stores and Google Store.
