I hope that you were aware about the latest version of Android, which Google unveiled few days ago, and it is called Android Oreo. The Android Oreo v8.0 can be updated on Pixel and Nexus devices right now, the all new OS is powered with lots of new and improved features and one of them is going to be the real game changer.
With the Android Oreo, Google bringing a new setup and it is called as Project Treble. The name will not make you understand what it really does, it will help Android device makers and carriers to roll out Android updates faster than the current schedule.
Google Android Product Manager Sagar Kamdar has confirmed that the Mountain View company is working with several partners on Project Treble. Every new smartphones that will launch with Oreo is “treblized,” which means those devices will able to easily update to the future Android roll outs.
Android head David Burke said, Google is working closely with our partners, and by the end of this year, hardware makers including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony are scheduled to launch or upgrade devices to Android 8.0 Oreo.”
