The search engine giant Google is rolling out the WebGPU technology and the same is an API designed to provide web applications greater access to your graphics card’s capabilities.
The new set up will be enabled by default in the latest Chrome 113 and the company will be offering the new update around three weeks. The WebGPU technology will be available on the computers which are powered by the Windows computers with the support of Direct3D 12. It will also support with macOS as well as ChromeOS devices with Vulkan support.
The new implementation will be handy in the current age of generative AIs and large language models. It can also provide better looking games for your browser as well.
