The search engine giant Google has various kinds of services and applications, and now the company has added one more to their huge portfolio and the new application is called Google Podcast. The app will use Google’s recommendation algorithms in an effort to connect people with their favorite.
The all new Google Podcasts is similar to any other podcast applications. The app will allow users to search for the new podcasts, to download them, and play it at a user’s convenient time. The app is coming with more than 2 million podcasts, which means you will get 2 million podcasts on the app on launch day.
The app is designed with many options like when you open the new Google Podcast, you will see a section called “For you” which will present in front you with new episodes of shows which you’ve subscribed to, it will also show the episodes which you’ve been listening to but haven’t finished and a list of your downloaded episodes. The app will also show you the top and trending podcasts, both in general and by category.
Moreover, the Google Podcasts app is also integrated with Google Assistant, which means you can search and play podcasts wherever you have enabled the Assistant. Google will also sync your place in a podcast across all the Google products, so with this, it stopped listening in half a podcast then you can resume it on your Google Home once you’re back at your own place.
