Back in 2017, the Mountain View company Google introduced a new offering called the Google Lens at the Google developer preview, and the same was made exclusively for the Pixel smartphones but in 2018, it was made available for the other Android users.
However, it had a challenge and that is needed to be connected to the internet and the company was developing an offline mode feature but now only it is official.
Google has updated the Google Lens and now it will offer offline translations and the same is available for Android users. Having said that, you might not get the latest feature even after updating the application as it is a server side update.
