Google has updated its Maps App for the recently launched edge-to-edge display phone iPhone X. This change allows users of iPhone X to take the best use of the unique display while accessing Navigation.
The User interface looks same as its previous versions. The noticeable change is a few starting from the search bar and information icons moved down slightly. This is to prevent information being hidden under the Camera and earpiece modules.
This update is not executed suddenly, Google has been performing several tests for the past days and updated each and every Google Apps to support iPhone X. The apps which already took changeovers are Sheets, Youtube, Keep, Slides, Docs. But still a lot of apps are waiting to see the changes.
For the edge-to-edge bezel-less display iPhone X, several apps to be remastered to give a stunning experience. Google has started giving importance to “other than Android” device so to show their interest and support for its own app lists. Good Job Google!
