Google has also confirmed that the newly introduced feature is now available in over 400 US cities including Boston, Cincinnati, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C, and coming to iOS users soon.
Apart from this, the company has also revealed that the new version of Google Maps will enable the users to make payment for transit fares and this facility will available in 80 more transit agencies globally. It is worth to mention that this particular service will available via Google Pay.
Having said that, the public transport users in select locations like San Francisco will also be able to buy transit credit through Google Maps for effortless and contactless setup. The new transit payment feature is rolling out in the coming weeks.
