Google has added new features for national park explorers as it will never allow you to lose your path while exploring the beauty of nature. Google Maps received the ability to identify popular places in a park, including attractions, campgrounds, visitor centers, and trailheads.
It will enable you to search for the park which you are interested in and simply tap on any of the photos to get more details including videos as well as reviews. It is also getting the ability to offer a trail’s entire route on the map. Google will also be highlighting park entrances on the map and Google Maps application is also getting a new offline map feature as well and the same will enable you to download an offline map which will be handy for those who visit a spot where we have issues with connectivity.
Google is offering the new features on both iOS and Android platforms and the same will be available to all US national parks in April. The new features will be available across the globe in the coming months.
