The Mountain View company Google has integrated Google Gemini in Google Maps, and the same brings multiple improvements and comfort to enhance the driving experience. The new update will enable you to use voice commands for navigation and other tasks without touching the phones.
With the latest integration, you can able to ask for various things including “Find a budget-friendly restaurant options along my route” and “What’s parking like there?” before saying “OK, let’s go there.” Gemini can also manage connected tasks like “Add a calendar event.” Once permission is given, it syncs directly with Google Calendar.
It will also enable you to ask things like popular dishes, get news updates, or check sports scores while navigating. You can now easily report road conditions by simply saying “I see an accident,” “There’s flooding ahead,” among others. The new Gemini navigation features will be rolling out in the coming weeks on Android and iOS, with Android Auto support coming soon.
Google Maps will also start offering directions based on real-world landmarks and the application will now offer clearer guidance like “Turn right after a particular place.
