The very popular Google Maps now shows Bharat with the official flag of India and this is the continuation of the new belief of remaining the country name. The application shows “Bharat” as “Country in South Asia”, along with a digital representation of the Indian flag.
The Google Maps also shows Bharat as a location even if one searches in Hindi or English. But it is worth mentioning that you can also use India to see the official map of the country. When you type “Bharat” in the search box of Google Maps followed by a space then you will able to see the name of the country along with the flag.
The new incident is the continuation of events that happened a few weeks ago when the Indian government mentioned the President of Bharat instead of the President of India in the G20. Recently, NCERT panel suggested to replace ‘India’ with ‘Bharat’.
