A couple of hours ago, we updated that the South Korean electronics brand which will feature notch on the top of it for the third generation Pixel devices which will be unveiled later this year. Well, now we got another information about the notch on the top of the display of third generation Pixels.
Thanks to Roland Quandt, as he reveals the more information about the upcoming Pixels on his Twitter account. According to him, the notch will be on one of the Pixel 3 devices (likely the Pixel 3 XL). Moreover, he also says that Google could join their hands with iPhone-building company Foxconn for Pixel 3, and a new hardware on the device, this may points to the notch.
He also says that the third generation Pixel devices will not be manufactured by LG or HTC, well, this is not the surprising element because Google acquired the employees of HTC in last year, and it means for the first time Google will develop and design their device under their roof in this year.
Google really is going it alone: there are two Google Pixel 3 devices in the works, both based on SDM845. One has "new display hardware", both are built by Foxconn – not HTC, LG or whomever. Launch timeframe is Aug/Sep 2018. https://t.co/CelnTfO5IB

He also mentioned about the availability of the devices, according to him, the devices will be launched in August or September this year. But I assume that the company will unveil the devices in October, as in the past two years Google hosted the ‘Made by Google’ event in the month of October. Well, we are still far away from the event and I’m sure that we will able to hear more about the upcoming devices in coming months. Stay tuned with us!
