The search engine giant Google is finally offering the much awaited RCS in the Google Messages application for everyone. The new setup is actually replacing SMS and MMS. It is also confirmed that the RCS messages in the Messages app is end to end encrypted by default for individual and group chats.
Google will do everything by itself which means you do not need to do anything manually as the enrollment will now happen automatically and silently in the background, without the need for user input.
The latest RCS feature is also coming with multiple improvements over the standard SMS including typing indicators, read receipts, as well as the ability to share high-resolution photos and videos.
