The guys at 9to5Google spotted some details about the upcoming features of the new version of the Google Messages app and the application is getting a new capability of sending and receiving voice messages for a standard SMS/MMS or RCS message. It will also enable you to see transcriptions of your voice messages as well.
It is also reported that the upcoming update of Google Messages will enable you to react to a message using any emoji, and the application will get a new Gallery view when choosing content to send.
We don’t have any information on the timeline for the arrival of the new features but we believe that Google will roll out the same in the near future.
