Last year Google launched Pixel & Pixel XL smartphones that packs premium specs but the cost is also premium. For budget range Google has Android One devices that are made with third party OEMs like Micromax, Karbonn and Lava. But those phone are not that great in terms of hardware. Now we have something about this.
Rumours are there that Google may announce there own Android One device, that means that this phone will not be made by third party OEMs. It will be like Pixel phones. But this phone will not be Pixel branded. Few days back Rick Osterloh, Senior Vice President of Hardware at Google said that ‘Pixel’ branded phones will be Premium and no Pixel phone will launch in budget or mid-range segment. Now after this statement, tipster from our source has confirmed that Google will launch a Non-Pixel Android phone. This phone is mainly targeted to developing countries just like Android One devices.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. This phone might launch with Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2, or maybe after that. We don’t have any information regarding pricing and specs. As this is just a rumour so take all information with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned with us for more information.
