The Mountain View company Google is collaborating with Tata Play – the very popular DTH service provider in India. The collaboration will bring the Google Nest security cam in the market of India and including the battery-powered Google Nest Cam and a Google Nest Mini. Tata Play is offering the device with the packages called the Tata Play Secure and Tata Play Secure+. The company is also offering an annual Nest Aware subscription service.
Google Nest Cam was launched last year and the same is capable to offer alerts that can be customized for your security purpose. The device is capable to notify when it detects a moving object (human, animals, vehicles, and more) It also offers advanced familiar face recognition alerts and for the same, you need the Nest Aware subscription. The Google Nest Cam also features two-way communication as it is featuring a built-in microphone and high-quality speaker.
The Google Nest Cam is weather-resistant and the same is not required any wires for connection. The device also supports HDR and night vision capability and it also features an Event Video history using the Google Home app.
Speaking about the availability details, the Tata Play Secure and Google Nest Cam will be available in at least 10 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Talking about the pricing details, the Nest Aware service is having a price tag of ₹11,999 inclusive of installation. The yearly subscription for the basic plan is ₹3,000 for up to 4 devices, while the Tata Play Secure+ plan starts at ₹5,000 annually. It is worth mentioning that the early subscribers can able to get a free Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen) smart speaker.
