Killing applications and services is nothing new for the search engine Google, now it is said that the company is all set to kill the iconic Google Now launcher. The launcher will be killed this month which means April.
For those who are unaware, the Google Now launcher was Google used on Nexus devices before the Pixel with its Pixel Launcher, and the same was also made available in other Android Smartphones like Motorola. I used the launcher in Moto G 2nd generation smartphone in 2014 and I personally loved the launcher as it is clean and user friendly. Google made the Google Now Launcher available for everyone via the Google Play Store.
The launcher is actually having the power of Google Search and the latest Google Search update, v.14.14 is having a new page and the same is suggesting that the company will be killing the launcher very soon. Well, the company will be shutting down the launcher from the search app by the end of this month.
