According to the Android Police, the search engine giant Google is replacing the Lens button on the Google Photos app with a new face based search tool and the same will search the same face in other images which you captured in the past. On the other hand, if you tap on an object in the same photo, you’ll be taken to the full Google Lens app. The newly implemented feature will offer you to visit the old photos and keep your memories fresh.
It is worth mentioning that the new feature is currently available on a limited number of Android devices, it may take some time to reach on all the devices and the same may take a couple of weeks.
