The company has announced that the application is now enjoying 1.5 billion users and over 9 trillion photos and videos.
Google has said that people do 370 million searches every month, and they share 440 million memories, and people have edited 210 million photos on the platform. Now let’s check out the new AI features.
AI features of Google Photos
New AI Editor: The developers of Google redesigned the photo editor to put AI suggestions and manual tools in one place. The Reimagine and Auto frame features from Pixel 9 phones will be available on more Android devices from next month. iPhone users will get the features but the same will be available by later this year.
QR Code Album Sharing: The application will now enable you to create a QR code to share photo albums instantly. People can able to simply scan the code to see photos or they can add their own. This will be beneficial while conducting events or parties.
Places Tab for Travel Photos: This particular feature will make things easier to look back at your trips.
Better Search: Search on the platform is now smarter, and you can find photos with your natural phrases.
Auto-Created Memories: The latest update of Google Photos can automatically make monthly and yearly photo collections. It will be easy to share as well.
Highlight Videos: The platform will enable you to make short video montages by tapping the “+” button and selecting “Highlight video.”
Auto-Updated Shared Albums: Shared albums are capable of updating automatically when you add new photos of specific people or pets.
Grid Controls: The application gets the new grid options and the same will enable you took to clean up your photo feed by hiding memes, GIFs, and grouping.
Memory Settings: The application will now enable you to hide certain people, pets, or dates from your memories.
Free Up Phone Storage: You can now easily “Free up space” to delete photos already backed up to the cloud.
