The Mountain View company Google has officially introduced the new Japan-exclusive version of the Google Pixel 10a, called the Google Pixel 10a Isai Blue Edition. The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary of the Pixel lineup with the new device and it comes with a design collaboration with Heralbony, a company known for promoting diverse artistic expression. Google is currently taking the pre-order in Japan and the special edition will be available for sale starting May 20.
The Google Pixel 10a regular variant is available in Lavender, Berry, Fog, and Obsidian colour options, while the latest variant focuses on a concept rather than nature-inspired tones. The name “Isai” translates to individuality. The blue colour of the device reflects Heralbony’s corporate identity and its message of embracing uniqueness. The design language is also reflecting on hardware, accessories, and software elements.
Google is offering the device with Google’s Material You design to integrate artwork into the user interface. You can select from nine wallpapers, and the system automatically adjusts app icons and color schemes to match the chosen design.
The retail box of the device includes the original stickers designed by Nozomi Fujita, featuring letters and motifs inspired by the Pixel brand. A color-matched bumper case is also included.
It is available only in Japan and the latest Google Pixel 10a Isai Blue edition is priced at 94,900 yen for the single 256GB storage option.
