Just few hours ago, Google unveiled its new Pixel devices at the Made by Google event. And now the Mountain View Company gets another golden feather on its crown, as the Pixel 2 smartphone wins the best smartphone camera title from the DxOMark.
The all new Pixel 2 beats both the iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note8 with a score of 98, and the other two devices received a score of 94. With a 1/2.6-inch 12 megapixel sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, the Pixel camera is going to be extremely hard to beat.
The Mountain View company has implemented electronic image stabilization (EIS) paired with optical image stabilization (OIS) technology in the camera of Pixel 2 device. With this technology the camera will able to stabilize even the shaky video along with you will able to get better static shots. Moreover, the camera of the device also has dynamic range in all lighting conditions, a high level of detail preservation, strong flash performance, and pleasing foreground and background blur for portraits.
