Google Pixel 3a Leaked Ahead of Official Launch Today

The long rumored Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL are just a couple of hours away from the reality, as today at Google I/O 2019 event, the company will launch the device. However, the leaks of the upcoming lite variant of the third generation Pixel devices are not going to settle. Now we got the complete specifications as well as features of the Pixel 3a device. The latest leak is in line with the previously leaked information and that’s why we can able to see the same at the stage of unveiling event.

According to the source, the upcoming Pixel 3a will sport a 5.6-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution along with 18:9 aspect ratio, it will also have the pixel density of 441ppi, and support for Always-On mode. The display is said to have a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 with a white point of D67 and a maximum depth of 24-bits.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor and it will be paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB internal storage. The device will also come with the in-house Titan M security chip, and that will give an additional layer of security to the users.

Moving to the photography department, the Pixel 3a will feature a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with 1.14-micron pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, and 76-field of view. Dual pixel phase detection and OIS, as well as EIS, this will help users to capture blur-free photos and videos. The rear camera can record full-HD videos at 30fps, 60fps, 120fps, while 4K videos can be recorded at 30fps. For HD videos, one can choose between 30fps, 60fps, and 240fps. On front, the smartphone will rock an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, and 84-degrees field of view.

The smartphone also features stereo speakers, the Active Edge sensors for edge squeeze gestures, Google Lens, Night Vision mode, portrait mode, Google Wizard, Moving Autofocus, and Quick Switch adapter, ARCore support is also onboard. It also supports fingerprint scanner and that’s placed at the rear side.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports a single Nano SIM, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac with dual channel 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidth support, Bluetooth 5.0 LE with AptX, AptX HD, and LDAC support for wireless audio transmission, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0, and backed on a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging (USB-PD 2.0 Quick Charge).
