- It was believed to launch in May.
- The device will be a mid-range smartphone.
- Google Pixel 4a could be rebranded as 5a.
The Google Pixel 4a is in the waiting list from the very long time and the device was expected to arrive in the month of May but the company delayed the lunch and now we got a new piece of information which suggests that the Mountain View company Google will launch the device in the month of October and that could be during its Made by Google event.
According to Jon Prosser, the much-anticipated Google Pixel 4a is delayed after the same was expected to be announced sometime in July, and to be launched in August. He also says that the company will have a launch event on July 13, but the company will not announce a Black colour variant of the smartphone until October 22.
I’m confused too, but here’s what I know 👇
Timelines got pushed due to market conditions – not due to supply chain. Units are ready to ship.
“Just Black” – August 6th
“Barely Blue” – October 1st
Pixel 5 likely pushed back, also. https://t.co/d6QLtKzxSB

Having said that, the launch date of the device in October is further suggesting that the company may rebrand the Pixel 4a to 5a and the source also says that the company will launch a new colour option which will be dubbed as barely blue.
Apart from this, we don’t have any other information about the upcoming smartphone at this moment of time but we believe to hear more about the same in the coming days and if you are unaware about the same then you can check out the complete details on our dedicated page.
