The search engine giant Google is currently working on its upcoming flagship smartphone series called the Google Pixel 8 series and the same is expected to be announced in the month of October. The devices are making noise on a regular basis and today we got a new piece of information that suggests that the devices will enable you to respond to a notification using your voice. According to the latest information, when a message notification arrives to the device, it will enable you to ask the device to send a reply through Google Assistant. For example, you just need to say “Hey Google, Reply.” This will trigger a message type command and you can able to use your voice to text, the new capability will enable you to draft a message and send it to the person by saying their name. This is a really helpful feature as it will enable you to send a reply without touching the phone. Moreover, this picture will be very helpful for people with a disability as they can connect with their friends and family using their voice.
It is also suggested that this particular feature might not be available at the time of the announcement of the devices but the same will be available later.
Based on the previous reports, it is suggested that the company will be offering the smartphone series with eSIM capability as well. The upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options while the vanilla model will be available with 128GB and 256GB variants.
It is also expected that the upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch Samsung OLED display along with 2992×1344 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also reported to feature a peak brightness of 1600 nits and pixel density of 490PPI. The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel GN2 main camera on the back along with a 64-megapixel IMX787 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48-megapixel GM5 telephoto lens. It is also said to feature a 10.8-megapixel 3J1 lens front facing camera. The device will also feature a temperature sensor on the back panel.
Under the hood, the upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro is to be powered by Google’s self-developed Tensor G3 processor and the same will be supporting ray tracing, enabling improved graphics performance as well. It is also said that the device will be running on Android 14 out of the box and there is nothing surprising element in that. The device will be housing a 4950mAh battery along with 27 watt wired charging and 23W & 12W Qi wireless charging.
On the other hand, the upcoming Google Pixel 8 will be coming with a 4,485mAh battery on the board along with a 24W charging solution. It will also support wireless charging as well. The device will be coming with Wi-Fi 7 and the same will be coming with Broadcom BCM4398 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi communications chip.
