Google Searches are about to feature Auto-playing videos in the knowledge panel of search results for certain searches.
Google is testing an annoying feature, Autoplaying Videos into the search results.The Facebook is also having the same feature which is tragic sometimes.Google is planning to make the websites more Video centric.Google has been testing the features with search results to Tv shows, Movies, and Music Videos.
“We are constantly experimenting with ways to improve the search experience for our users, but have no plans to announce at this time.” Said a Google Spokesman.
The video will be played automatically for desktop users and with Tap to play feature for Mobile Users. Jennifer Slegg from the SEM Post said, “It is a very bold move for Google to make a change that is quite an ‘in your face’ approach, especially because Google’s results are very static in nature.”
In general Autoplaying videos are always annoying on the Internet. Facebook’s decision brought many complaints to the company and later it has been optimized with Tap to play and switch on sound when need.Now Google is also planning to step into the feature. This might lead to a severe destruction of the search engine or a great success. Let us wait to see this step out of testing.
