So let’s get into the article to check out the full details.
Everything about Android 17
The latest Android 17 introduces Bubbles, a new multitasking functionality and it will enable you to turn any app into a “compact” floating window. This is similar to the floating icon of Facebook Messenger or Google Messages.
Google has also developed the operating system by keeping larger screens, like foldables and tablets, the new Bubbles appear inside a dedicated ‘Bubble Bar’ in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can also be able to resize Bubbles or enter full-screen mode from the Bubble Bar as well.
The latest Android 17 has also introduced the new Screen Reactions and this will enable you to record yourself from the front-facing camera and the screen at the same time to react to what is being displayed. The camera feed is superimposed at the top of the screen recording. It will be showing two recordings as one clip. Google has also updated screen recording and annotation tools.
Google has also introduced a dedicated ‘Foldable Gaming’ mode for foldable devices and this feature will offer the on-screen gaming controls at the lower side of the screen as a dedicated gaming pad. It is also said that the Android 17 operating system is coming with more efficient memory cleanup that will be reducing “frame drops and stutters”.
The latest Android 17 will be offering impressive security as users grant temporary access to their precise location to apps. The operating system will also enable you to share specific contacts with apps, eliminating the need for sharing their entire contacts list. You will be getting a new “Mark as lost” option in the Find Hub and the same will enable you to remotely lock the missing devices using the biometrics.
