Google is working on a new system news feed which is similar to Snapchat’s Discover Mode.
The core feature of Snapchat is Discover Mode. Now google is inspired by the feature and working on this to improve their news feed. The feature for sharing media content is called Stamp.Google is in serious discussion with publishers like Vox Media, CNN, Mic etc which all are said to be participating in the Platform.The Stamp system is a combination of Stories and AMP (Accelerated Mobile Platform) is said to be built around Google’s Accelerated mobile platform which is optimized for faster loading pages.Apple is already in and Now Google is also planning to do the services where the stories are directly obtained from search results.The Wall street journal says that the stories on stamp “could be several swipeable slides encompass text, photo, and Video”.
It is unclear what the feature would bring us, but whatever service provided by Google has reached a Top notch or even worst failure. This all depends upon the way Google presents it to us. Google is reportedly ready to announce the STAMP system as early as next week.
