Just like the Gmail’s new version, Drive gets the brighter interface with rounded elements. Moreover, there is a combination of lines and subtler shadows which help the elements to stand out from the brighter interface. The company also made few other changes with the new version like the drive logo comes at the top left side of the screen, custom company logos will show on the top right side of the screen, the settings and help centre icons are now in line with the search bar, and the colour of the background has changed from grey to White.
Moreover, the changes also brings the Product Sans font and the rounded “New” button. Google is now refreshing is material design so it seems that the company now it’s making this design to the other apps to get the similarity.
