Google Rolls Out May 2018 Security Patch For Pixels And Nexus

We are in the start of yet another month of this year, and the Mountain View company Google started to roll out the security patch update of the May 2018 for the compatible devices such as first and second generation of Pixel devices and Nexus devices.

The update will be available through OTA files and system images for supported devices, the users who cannot wait for the update via traditional way, can able to sideload through OTA file or you can also flash the whole system images.

This month Android security patch update brings improvement as well, with the latest update Google fixes the issues which found on the large variant of the second generation Pixel, particularly in the charging problem. Moreover, the new update also improved the multitouch detection of all the Pixel and Nexus devices.

  • Nexus 5X


You can check it manually by heading over to the Settings > System > System updates menu. And if the update doesn’t hit your device, then you can download the factory images or OTA files which you can get by heading over the links which have given below.
