Testing and implementing new features is nothing new for the Mountain View company, Google, and now the company has added in new capability to its Google Search and which will offer more news from your preferred source.
Today the Mountain View company Google has officially announced the launching of preferred sources and the same will be available in Google Search for everyone in the United States and India.
Enabling the new feature will tell Google about your favourite sources for information and the search engine of Google will show you more content from those sources in the top stories section of Google Search.
Google is expected to rollout the new feature in the next couple of days. To select your Preferred Sources, you need to click on the icon to the right of “Top stories” and you can be able to see the search for sources and select your favourite sources.
After that, simply refresh your results and you’ll instantly get more from your favorite sources, and your preferences are saved for the future. Google will be serving the content from your Preferred Sources and that will be appearing both in Top stories and a dedicated “From your sources” section.
