The tech giant Google unveiled a new tool for the bloggers called Blog Compass in September last year, now the company has decided to shut down the service even before completing one year. That was in the beta stages from its first day and it is saying goodbye without having a stable version.
Blog Compass was dedicated for the users of India and the application allows users to manage the website as well as discover new topics. It supports both the WordPress as well as the Google in-house Blogger platform, it also allows users to track the stats of the website, approval of comments, and it also provides tips to make the globe more successful.
The reason behind the shutdown is not revealed by the company, but it had lots of issues since the early days, and its reported that people having issues to login to the application. Having said that, you guys can find the application on Google Play Store but after installing you will see a Goodbye message.
Personally speaking, it was a good tool for the newcomers into the blogging industry but due to some issues, the company closes it. But we hope that the company will come again with something new and more advanced tool to help the bloggers.
