Google has already announced a couple of big announcements at the Google for India event, the company has also announced a new platform called Google Spot and it is targeted to increase the offline presence of the Google’s payment application i.e. Google Pay.
The new set up supports JavaScript and HTML and this will allow merchants to make their own customized experience using the Google Pay, and the company says that it needs just a couple of lines of code to make one of such a customized experience. Moreover, the new setup is coming with Spot Cards and that is actually the QR code and NFC based payment cards, it allows customers to get ‘Direct Access’ to the experience merchants which have created.
That’s not all, the search engine giant also said that many popular brands such as MakeMyTrip has already made their own experiences card and the small business can able to make their card with third parties.
Well, this will definitely help the company to get more offline access to the Google Pay, as people can now come to the public places such as restaurant and pay bills by simply pointing the phone to the card.
