Google Stadia was one of the ambitious products of the Mountain View company Google and it is a digital gaming service. The service was introduced in 2019 but it seems that the company didn’t get it good response as it is officially confirmed that the service will be shut down in the early days of next year.
The search engine giant Google has officially confirmed that the program will be shut down on January 18 2023. The company has made the announcement at the time when Google is looking to cut costs.
It is also revealed that the company will refund all Stadia hardware purchases made through the Google Store and all game and add-on content purchases at the Stadia store.
Having said that, the search engine giant Google was recently reported to cancel the Google Pixel laptop series as well.
