Now the Google Street View feature is available in India and the same is available for 10 cities of the country.
Google Street View enables users to get 360-degree panoramic street images and this particular feature provides a close look at the streets. This feature was available in the country over but it was banned in 2016 due to security concerns.
The Mountain View company Google has now launched the Google Street View feature once again in India with its geospatial policy which was announced last year. This particular policy allows local companies to collect data and licence to foreign companies. The search engine giant Google has joined its hand with Genesys International and Tech Mahindra to bring the Google Street View feature to India.
The Google Street View feature is currently available in 10 cities in India and the same will be expanded to 50 cities by the end of this year. Let’s check out the list of cities which is having the feature.
