It is reported that the search engine giant Google is collaborating with the South Korean electronics giant Samsung’s System LSI department to develop the upcoming Google Tensor G4 chip which will power the next generation Google Pixel 9 series. The upcoming processor is codenamed Zuma Pro.
The report is also suggesting that the upcoming mobile processor will be closely based on Samsung’s Exynos 2400 and the same is expected to offer slightly improved performance compared to the Google Tensor G3 chip which will be official next month.
It is also suggested that Google will be launching its fully fully custom-designed Tensor G5 chip in 2025 along with the Google Pixel 10 series. This will mark a significant shift in the manufacturing process involves moving from Samsung to TSMC.
