Google Tightens Android Devices Security

The Mountain View company Google always works to give the maximum privacy and security to the Android devices, and now the company has decided to change the voice match set up to unlock the device. This means now you cannot able to unlock your device by waking up the virtual assistant.

What’s the new move?

The search engine giant Google allowed users to unlock the device with the voice match by saying the ‘OK Google’, however, now the developers of the company has decided to get rid of this feature to tighten the security of the Android devices. Well, that means the company will restrict the voice match feature only to the Google Assistant, and the company will reduce the power of the users to unlock the device.

The developers will get gid the feature with the Google app version 9.27 and devices such as Moto Z and Pixel XL already lost this functionality with the Google app update.

As of now, we don’t have any other information but I personally will not be happy with the new move. Because till now we can able to unlock the device with our voice match and carry out our demand by asking the question, but now we have to grab the device and unlock to go through our personal results like Google Calendar, Gmail or more. We would like to hear your thoughts about the new move of Google in the comments section below!
