Last year Google announced that Hangouts was set to move towards to more enterprise format, and it is being integrated into G Suite to help business employees connected. Then Google launched Duo for video calling purposes but that was gone flop and now Google unveils business format for Hangouts with the introduction of Meet.

The all new Google Meet was listed on the App store, but it was removed by Google. It seems Meet to be part of G Suite, Meet has a web page and it currently shows the date and time along with the beautiful background. Also it seems that you will need to enter a meeting code in order to join a video conference and you can directly place a call or send a text message from the website.
Meet allows 30 participants to be connected in a high definition video call. and it also offers dial-in numbers for those who travels a lot, One click participation in meetings and also Gmail and Calendar are integrated into G Suite. The dial-in numbers will be available for users of G Suite Enterprise Edition.
Right now there is no information about the availability of Meet on the platform of Android but as we have mentioned above that Google has removed it from App Store. So, it may Google planning to make it live for both Android and IOS platform together.
