Google is working on ‘Made for Google’ program – report

We are just few hours away from Made by Google event, where we will able to see lots of products including the most awaited second generation Pixel devices. And now a new report coming, which says that Google is all set to launch a new program called ‘Made for Google’ and it would most likely for third-party accessories.

With this program, third-party accessory makers can able to access tools, documentation and technical support, similar to the Apple’s MFI (Made for I) setup. Right now, there are is no other details are available regarding this program. However, the new move by Google signals that manufacturer’s of accessory will be able to advertise their products with a Made For Google products logo.

It seems that Google wants to deal with USB Type-C cables, because it often creates issues and didn’t provide consistent charging currents, which could damage devices. Google’s new program is likely to address this criticism for third-party accessories.

So, let’s wait and see all the developments in coming days.
