We already have Apple Card which was unveiled in last year and the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei also launched its physical card last week, and now Google ‘Can’t Stop’ itself to stay away in this segment. As now we got a new piece of information which says that the company is working on a physical card, but there is no information about the name of that particular and that’s why we can call it as Google Card for now.
According to the latest report, the Mountain View company Google is working on a physical and that will be entirely different than the Apple Card, as it is a credit card but the upcoming physical card Google will be a smart debit card and that will be powered by Visa and also said that the company will add MasterCard as well in the future.
It is also expected that the upcoming Google Card will allow users to make purchases at retail stores and it will also support the contactless payment method as well. We can expect that the search engine giant will make a virtual version of the same and that will be used for Bluetooth mobile payments as well as online payments via virtual card number.
The upcoming Google service will also allow users to monitor the transactions and that will be e via an app and most probably through the Google Pay application. It will also come with a security feature that will allow users to lock the card from not being misused or get stolen.
As of now, we don’t have any information about the availability of the upcoming Google Card but we expect that the company will make it official at the Made by Google event which will happen later this year.
