Google has recently published a research paper which is closer to what we expect AI-powered service to be in future.
We come across various sci-fi movies in which the AI used would have a nearly human-like speech system. This is going to be real now. Yes, Google has published a research paper titled “Natural TTS Synthesis by Conditioning WaveNet on Mel Spectrogram Predictions,” in which Google explains about a new text-to-speech system called Tacotron 2.
Tacotron couples with a pair of neural networks to create nearly human-like audio frequencies and recreate the visual data as sound. Google is making these tests available to the user to view how the AI has learned about pronunciations and verbal communication.
Google has also launched a website in which it showcases various tests created In order to differentiate various voice analysis with examples of human voice. This technology has a chance of making its way to Google Assistant and Google Home devices in future.I guess this research will also help Google to improve AI more like humans. Let’s wait for the Change.
